Chanler is a born and bred Memphian, but started her beauty industry journey in Starkville, MS in 2009. After she received her licensure, she began working at La Rousse Salon and Spa in Oxford, MS in 2010. She built an amazing clientele over for five years, and humbly received many awards for her hard work. The salon was voted best in Oxford and also was listed in the top 100 salons in the nation, by Elle Magazine, two years in a row. It was the only salon featured and recognized in Mississippi. She had the honor of training in New York City along side Vaughan •v76• summer of 2014. There she received extensive skills and knowledge on platinum seamless extensions, Oribe training in haircuts, and thorough product knowledge. She styled the ladies that were a part of the Ole Miss Parade of Beauties Pageant. Chanler had more weddings than she could count, and absolutely loves doing wedding hair for brides and bridal parties. Her talent is incredible and blondes – well, let’s be honest – all colors are her specialty! After Chanler and husband, Joel, found out they were expecting a baby, they wanted to move back home and be close to family. Fast forward five months and Chanler joined the team at Salon Dixie! She can’t wait to build new relationships with fellow Memphians, and is glad to be home! She hopes to see her career expand exponentially at her new home at Salon Dixie!
